New this fall, the Foundry Art Centre is pleased to offer our newest Homeschool Art Series: 13 Artists Children Should Know. At the Foundry Art Centre, homeschoolers will have an opportunity to discover their hidden talents and allow their creativity to shine while acquiring fine art credit. As they become inspired by 13 masters, students will learn new techniques and experiment with a variety of media such as sculpture, painting, watercolor, charcoal, colored pencil, and more. An afternoon of crafting! Crafts of different levels will be available.

Monthly crafting classes for children aged 2-7. This program is geared towards stay at home families looking for a fun activity. This class is a great way to get your kiddo comfortable with listening to an instructor in a classroom setting.

Olive Explorers are sessions for little ones to explore new topics and activities. Session include story time, a craft, and playtime. For children aged 2 years and above. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay and play. If dropping off, and no membership, adult must purchase a day use pass.

Discover the magic of spinning clay and shaping your own pottery in this winter break camp for young artists!

In this hands-on studio camp, campers will dive into painting techniques using acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media.

Join us on the third Saturday of the month 11:00am - 1:00pm for a free family craft activity in the gallery!

Dive into the world of art with Youth Design Lab! This class empowers young artists to experiment with different mediums and hands-on activities.

Come and celebrate Christmas and T.Swifts birthday We will create (3) projects including a 10X10 canvas. A pizza lunch including (2) slices of pizza, cookie and drink will also be served. Campers that do not like pizza are more than welcome to bring a sack lunch. A mid-morning snack will also be served. If your camper has a food allergy please let the studio know, prior to camp.

These crafts are simple and perfect for littles still learning motor skills as well as older kids and parents looking to unwind. Snacks will be provided!

Clay Together invites little hands and their grown-up sidekicks to spin, shape, and create together! Designed for children ages 3 & up and their parent or caregiver, this playful pottery wheel class offers a fun introduction to clay, creativity, and collaboration. No experience needed, just a sense of adventure and a willingness to get a little muddy! Pairs will complete 1 piece to fire. You pick your colors, and Christine Tavares will glaze it for you. Pottery is usually ready for pick-up in 2 weeks but sometimes it takes a little longer. (This is a one-day class). When registering, only one name is needed to secure a spot for you + one).
