Soar into summer with egg-citing adventures. Get outside and learn the basics of birding to identify the birds in our backyard. We’ll feature songbirds like cardinals, bluebirds, and chickadees; raptors like owls, eagles, and hawks; and your favorite bird. Play migration games, model habitats, and connect with nature.

Painting rocks, sculpting with sticks, glueing with leaves, PAINTING WITH MUD, and more! Come join us for a fun week of creating art with nature. We will take a daily nature hike to collect our materials for the project that day. Your child will come home with many beautiful, nature-inspired pieces. Come dressed to impress the mud, and please apply sunscreen and bug spray before camp each day

During our week under the stars we’ll go on a bear hunt, have s’mores around the campfire, explore the woods, and more. Grab your flashlight and water bottle and join us for a week of fun in the outdoors

Make upcycled art, houses for your stuffies, coloring projects, crafts, frog houses in the woods, and chalk creations. We will also enjoy scavenger hunts, outdoor play, and good old fashioned fun!

Travel “Under the Sea” while we learn about different sea creatures. We’ll play games, sing songs, and make “Catch of the Day” crafts that you’ll get to take home!

Our mini fencing camps offer kids a way to dip their toes into the sport of fencing in a place that’s friendly and supportive and allows them to immerse themselves in the sport for a week. This kind of structured, focused attention can go a long way in acclimating a child to an unfamiliar sport as well as supercharging their excitement. In mini camps, everyone is on the same page and at the same level, so they get to go through this journey of starting the sport together. Hey bakers, let’s get in the kitchen and make some yummy treats. We will bake a mix of things like pies, cookies, cakes, or pizzas during the week. You will be in charge of your mixing, pouring, and decorating of each dish we bake. We will even have a bake challenge where kiddos are able to pick their treat to make for the day and we will see who creates the best dish. Are you up for the challenge?

Come explore the woods of Community School and learn valuable skills in the process. In this camp we will play games in and out of the woods, create art with natural materials, learn about animals of the forest, and even master a few survival skills. Come join the fun in the forest!

Let’s grow some fun this summer! We have plenty of dirt, insects, and plants... we just need to know how they all work together to make something beautiful and often tasty! Come garden with Mr. Gruszka as you learn how to work, compost, care for, and use a garden, big or small. Handson experience and projects will allow you to take your “budding” skills beyond the garden home with you.

Children ages 3, 4, and 5 will build, splash, play, create, and dance their way through four one-week sessions of Summer Play Camp. Campers will delight in daily indoor and outdoor activities – including water and sand play! Experienced early childhood teachers and staff from Community School will direct the camp. Campers must have their third birthday by July 1, 2024, and be potty-trained. Full-day campers should bring a non-refrigerated nut-free lunch. Please note that campers may be dropped off as late as 9:00 a.m. or picked up as early as 3:00 p.m. Please note that the week of June 17, there is no camp on Monday, and thus we are offering a discounted rate
