Under the Stars. During our week under the stars we’ll go on a bear hunt, have s’mores around the campfire, explore the woods, and more. Grab your flashlight and water bottle and join us for a week of fun in the outdoors.

Come explore the woods of Community School and learn valuable skills in the process. In this camp we will play games in and out of the woods, create art with natural materials, learn about animals of the forest, and even master a few survival skills. Come join the fun in the forest!

Calling all builders! How tall can you build with sticks? How about Play-Doh and toothpicks? What about sugar cubes? We will be busy activating our STEM skills to design and build using building toys, elements of nature, art tools, food, and so much more

Grab your swimwear, hats, and beach towels! Join Ms. Horton and Mrs. Lepsky for some beach-themed fun in the sun! We will play in the sand and water, make delicious beachy food, and create seathemed crafts. For the friends that joined us last summer, we have new and exciting activities for this summer of 2024!

Build It Your building skills will be challenged as we use rocks, ice cubes, marshmallows, and other unusual materials to build structures. Of course we’ll have Legos, Magna Tiles, Lincoln Logs, and blocks to give us inspiration

Soar into summer with egg-citing adventures. Get outside and learn the basics of birding to identify the birds in our backyard. We’ll feature songbirds like cardinals, bluebirds, and chickadees; raptors like owls, eagles, and hawks; and your favorite bird. Play migration games, model habitats, and connect with nature.

Make upcycled art, houses for your stuffies, coloring projects, crafts, frog houses in the woods, and chalk creations. We will also enjoy scavenger hunts, outdoor play, and good old fashioned fun!

Travel “Under the Sea” while we learn about different sea creatures. We’ll play games, sing songs, and make “Catch of the Day” crafts that you’ll get to take home!

Our mini fencing camps offer kids a way to dip their toes into the sport of fencing in a place that’s friendly and supportive and allows them to immerse themselves in the sport for a week. This kind of structured, focused attention can go a long way in acclimating a child to an unfamiliar sport as well as supercharging their excitement. In mini camps, everyone is on the same page and at the same level, so they get to go through this journey of starting the sport together. Some of our highest performing fencers started in our beginner camps!

Stress Benders Growing up can feel so hard! Self or social awareness can be tricky, and self or relationship management can feel almost impossible. Grab your yoga mat (or a beach towel) and join us for Stress Benders! Each day, we will begin with a yoga story. Then, we will build our emotional intelligence with games, crafts, and activities.

Let’s grow some fun this summer! We have plenty of dirt, insects, and plants... we just need to know how they all work together to make something beautiful and often tasty! Come garden with Mr. Gruszka as you learn how to work, compost, care for, and use a garden, big or small. Handson experience and projects will allow you to take your “budding” skills beyond the garden home with you.
