Campers will explore their creativity and have fun creating 5 - 6 projects a week with a variety of mediums! We will be doing different projects each week; so you can sign your child up for multiple weeks!

The Lutheran High School Summer Camp program gives our students the chance to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships and develop skills in specific sports or activities all while getting a taste of the LHS experience. Led by our experienced coaches and teachers, each camp is designed to support personal, spiritual and skill development in a fun and encouraging environment. Per MSHSAA guidelines, any high school participants must be enrolled at LHS.

In this hands-on course, students will discover the art of working with air-dry clay, exploring the basics of clay tools, textures, and techniques. They’ll create their own unique pieces each session, learning sculpting methods and experimenting with different textures and finishes. Projects include fun and functional items like sculptures, personalized mugs, and more. This class is perfect for young artists looking to express themselves through clay while developing new artistic skills. Offered in partnership with Planting Seeds Academic Solutions

Messy Hands Play Lab is a hands-on, sensory-rich art experience designed especially for children ages 2–5. This playful program invites young learners to explore a variety of paint-based activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and self-expression. Children will experiment with different painting techniques using brushes, sponges, rollers, and even their hands and fingers. Activities may include splatter painting, texture painting, color mixing, and process-focused art that emphasizes exploration over perfection. The goal is to let children freely discover how colors, tools, and movement come together in fun and unexpected ways. Messy Hands Play Lab also supports early developmental skills such as fine motor coordination, sensory exploration, and imaginative thinking—all in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Children ages 5–10 are invited to a whimsical tea party inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Enjoy light refreshments and tea while listening to a delightful story of Alice, then spend time with her in a fun, imaginative setting. Perfect for young dreamers who love stories, make-believe, and a touch of wonder!

Each camp includes daily projects that incorporate all types of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, etc. We will also incorporate games and other activities into our day.

Unleash creativity with different exciting projects each week.

Children discover inspiring masterpieces and artists who have changed the world of art and the world as we know it, from Frida Kahlo to Keith Haring. Children design a different, unique, artistinspired creation each camp day. We encourage them to create the change that they want to see in the world! Campers must bring their own water bottle and nonperishable sack lunch. Registration deadline is 8/4/26.

Join Madame Gardet to sew pillows, bags, key chains, and small stuffed animals. We will use a sewing machine, hand stitches, and embroidery, and when we need a break, we will make creations using 3D techniques or work on puzzles. If children are interested, we can also explore knitting. This class is open to beginners and advanced sewers.

Morning camp (9am - 12pm): Dance Party Remix camp Lights go up and music plays Art that moves in funky ways! From Wicked tunes to K-Pop beats, Hip-hop, rock, now stomp your feet!

Options: 4 Full-Day Camp with one half day or 4 Full-Day Camp with zero half days. Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Full day option When noted for the one half day - 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. Students bring their own lunch. They can eat their lunch at camp on the half days.
