In this hands-on workshop, students will participate in multiple sensory activities that will enable them to brainstorm creative story ideas. Each session will focus on a different sense using pictures, objects, fragrances, sound effects, textures, and our own vivid imaginations. (No food will be consumed due to allergy concerns). Several activities will be followed by an in-class writing session. Students will share with each other and help each other deepen or develop their ideas. After taking this workshop, attendees will know how to glean writing prompts from their surroundings and how to generate their own unique ideas for future projects such as poems, stories, journaling, blogging, etc. Required materials: paper & a writing utensil. (Ages 13-17)

Explore the age of technique of papermaking, printmaking, and bookbinding. This week camp will learn to make our own paper using molds and deckles from paper pulp to plant fiber. We will use our handmade paper for drawing on, collage and to print. to create a colorful creative artist book.
