Create visual art in engaging small group classes guided by Webster University faculty. Discover new artistic skills in professional studios designed for working artists. Ideal for students who are beginning to consider options for college, our summer camps will help you build your portfolio with artwork that reflects your individuality and unique skills.

Create all day at Studio Flux! Young artists ages 10-14 explore clay, painting, sketching, print making and more sparked by museum visits and outdoor art exploration!

Each camp includes daily projects that incorporate all types of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, etc. We will also incorporate games and other activities into our day.

Step into a world of wonder where mythical creatures, magical lands, and legendary stories come to life! In this week of art camp, campers will explore myths from around the world and use their imagination to create colorful illustrations, magical scenes, and fantastical characters using markers, paints, and clay. From dragons to fairies, campers will learn fun techniques to bring their magical visions to life on paper. Get ready to let your creativity soar in a week full of enchantment and artistic adventure!

Dive into a summer of artistic delight as we revisit the most beloved projects from our talented campers. This week features a series of artistic adventures, filled with the joy of creating your favorite works of art, from personalized wood signs to trendy canvas projects.

Options: 4 Full-Day Camp with one half day or 4 Full-Day Camp with zero half days. Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Full day option When noted for the one half day - 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. Students bring their own lunch. They can eat their lunch at camp on the half days. With some paper and a pencil, you can create unique cartoon characters! Learn a few helpful tips and tricks for drawing cartoons.

Get ready to go wild with your creativity! This week, campers will explore the untamed beauty of the animal kingdom. Using a variety of art materials and techniques, campers will draw, paint, and sculpt animals in bold and imaginative ways. Whether realistic or fantastical, every creature comes to life as campers unleash their artistic instincts and embrace their wild side!

In this hands-on workshop, students will participate in multiple sensory activities that will enable them to brainstorm creative story ideas. Each session will focus on a different sense using pictures, objects, fragrances, sound effects, textures, and our own vivid imaginations. (No food will be consumed due to allergy concerns). Several activities will be followed by an in-class writing session. Students will share with each other and help each other deepen or develop their ideas. After taking this workshop, attendees will know how to glean writing prompts from their surroundings and how to generate their own unique ideas for future projects such as poems, stories, journaling, blogging, etc. Required materials: paper & a writing utensil. (Ages 13-17)

Elevate your art skills through a little more advanced exploration of art techniques and media, and create an art piece for a camp exhibition on at the week's end!

Explore the age of technique of papermaking, printmaking, and bookbinding. This week camp will learn to make our own paper using molds and deckles from paper pulp to plant fiber. We will use our handmade paper for drawing on, collage and to print. to create a colorful creative artist book.
