Our summer program offers engaging activities for all children that fosters self-confidence and encourage interpersonal skill development through participation in a range of experiences. Themed weeks, focused around real world phenomena, will be investigated by all ages through STEAM activities (Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics), performances, athletics, and local off-site experiences.

Color your world in with the nature around us! We will spend the week exploring the outdoors and getting crafty with the nature that inspires us at Ballard Nature Center. We will have a new craft/art project inspired by the nature that we explore, plus we will be making a fun swap each day. We will also be enjoying all the fun day camp activities of hiking, fishing, and archery. Each night we will be serving dinner after the campers arrive.

Join us for an out-of-this-world adventure at our Girl Scout day camp themed "Space is the Place"! Blast off into a weekend filled with cosmic exploration, where girls will embark on a journey through the galaxy and beyond. From building and launching rockets to stargazing and learning about the wonders of the universe, campers will engage in hands-on activities that ignite their curiosity and inspire their love for all things space-related.

Mini STEM Camp is a two-day day camp just for Daisies and Brownies! This year campers will learn all about engineering and earn their Think Like an Engineer Journey. Camp fees include all activities during camp, age-level Think Like an Engineer Journey, fun patch, t-shirt, and snacks each day. Camp will take place from 9:00 am-3:00 pm each day. Campers will be required to pack a sack lunch each day, but snacks will be provided.

During this six-day overnight camp, youll learn about the world of forensics, test your sleuthing abilities, and enjoy traditional camp activities.

Camp Sabra will be the premier Jewish resident camp in North America building upon our rich traditions which began in 1938. Sabra is a magical community that fosters life-long friendships, Jewish identity, and encourages social and physical growth. This course will orient you to health, human performance, and wellness at the individual, group, and population levels. We will explore the structures and functions of the human body and the influence of contemporary biopsychosocial factors. You will participate in hands-on learning in a variety of campus-based labs and clinics in addition to learning about the diversity of health, human performance, and wellness professions and the foundations of effective interprofessional healthcare teams.

Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe is an introductory survey of the universe, its formation and evolution, the nature and origins of stars and galaxies, the origins of solar systems including our own, and how humans have come to our current understanding by applying the process of science. You will develop an understanding of basic principles and methods used in astronomy and astrophysics to study the universe through observation, measurement, evaluation of data, and development and testing of scientific theories. This is an introductory course that does not assume a science and mathematics background.
