With Unity, an industry-grade design software, aspiring game designers will learn level editing, 3D modeling, impactful gameplay creation, as well as how to utilize scripts and variables. Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Returning students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years. 

Discover out-of-the-box thinking math that you can pull on your friends; math games; and math comedy as well! Get your own magic box and new tricks to put in it daily to amaze family and friends! Camp culminates with campers performing a mathemagic show for their families the last day. Goals are to develop presentation skills and confidence, build math skills, and to have fun!

Become a drone pilot in this awesome program! Learn how to fly a DWI Quad Rotor Drone, design creative courses to race each other through, learn about the many uses of drones, practice working together to accomplish flight-based tasks and more! This camp is half drone racing and half active, movement based games. Taught by Recreation Academy.

Calling all Balloonatics! Campers learn to create over 20 balloon animals, spin out with UFO balloons and make a balloon helicopter that really flies. Each day campers take home a different novelty ballon - racecar ballons, rocket balloons, and more! Camp concludes with the Balloonatics showing off their skills in a balloon twist jam for their families.

Begin your rise to the top of the charts with digital music production! Just like today's top artists, you can design your own beats or remix a mashup of your favorite songs to become a digital composer and sound engineer. In this course, students will learn to produce digital music, record sound, make sound effects, and mix their own tracks. No prior music experience is necessary. Student-created soundtracks will be available on a password-protected website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Camp participants will roleplay the key responsibilities in a vet office and learn how to care for their plush canine patients. These future veterinarians will learn how to remove ticks, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition and hydration, dog body language, and more!

Bring your animations to life with design tools used by real game developers! Create sophisticated sprite animations using simple-to-learn techniques that you can use in any 2D editor. Squash, stretch, and shade your creations to make your characters pop! Students do not need any prior experience in game design, animation, or sketching. Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Waterloo Day Campers are going to visit all of the animal kingdoms, from deep under the sea to the bright blue sky! Come test your animal knowledge each day as we make animal crafts, meet some animal friends, and learn how to care for them! During the week, Girl Scout campers will earn the following badges for their age level: Daisies - Animal Observer; Brownies - Pets; Juniors - Animal Habitats; Cadettes - Animal Helpers.

Juniors and Cadettes, join us for the day camp option of STEM Camp XII: Camp CSI! During this five-day day camp, youll learn about the world of forensics And test your sleuthing abilities. Junior campers will earn their Detective Badge and Cadette campers will earn their Special Agent badge.
