This 3-week class will focus on Developing Early Writing Skills through Story Comprehension and Phonological Awareness. The retelling of stories allows students to learn to organize and describe events, enhancing reading comprehension. Instructor: Rockwood Early Childhood teachers

Come aboard for our Pirate Adventure Day Camp at Whispering Pines of Clinton County! Join us for a week long day camp full of pirate adventures! Pirates may be known for treasure stealing and cannon battles, but they are also known for their loyalty to their crews. Girls will spend the week with their crews testing their archery skills to scare off enemy ships, practicing their swimming in case they are forced to walk the plank, and cooking over a fire in case they are stranded on an island.

Calling all aspiring pop stars – it’s your time to shine! Rock the mic and own the stage at Girl Scout Pop Star Era Overnight Camp, where you’ll live out your music dreams for a whole week.

 Our summer program offers engaging activities for all children that fosters self-confidence and encourage interpersonal skill development through participation in a range of experiences. Themed weeks, focused around real world phenomena, will be investigated by all ages through STEAM activities (Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics), performances, athletics, and local off-site experiences.
