The world of medicine is complex and profound. This course is a survey of topics related to medicine, designed to help students understand the variety of areas that medicine touches and give them the information to decide if a career in medicine is right for them.

The week is designed for students who have completed 7th grade and are interested in training to be a Jr. Camp Counselor. CITs will receive guidance and feedback throughout this experience. After successfully completing this weeklong intensive camp, CITs will be eligible to volunteer for a two-week session at an agreed upon time. The two weeks of volunteer hours can be used for community service commitment hours. This training week will be led by New City Teacher Lauren McKenna.
