"Saint Louis University School of Medicine Summer Scholars Program is designed to further expose interested youth to medicine and healthcare. During the three-week program, students meet with a variety of healthcare professionals. Some of the specialties may include family medicine, orthopaedics, emergency medicine, surgery, pediatrics, transplant surgery, internal general medicine, pathology, psychiatry, dieticians and nursing. The program is coordinated with the assistance of first-year medical students. In addition to career exploration, students will: (1) Participate in a virtual cadaver demonstration (2) Take a virtual tour of Saint Louis University’s campus/St. Louis area, (3) Complete a research project and (3) Receive several hours of ACT preparation. "

The Allsup Entrepreneurship Academy at the Chaifetz School of Business offers high school students the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship, grow their business skills and develop their own entrepreneurial ideas each summer at a three day enrichment program on the campus of Saint Louis University. Presented by the Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship, the camp offers participants the opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurial high school students from around the region, SLU students and some of St. Louis' most successful entrepreneurs while competing in a pitch competition.
