Led by Whitfield faculty, staff and alumni counselors, campers engage in hands-on activities, projects and experiments each day from 9am - 3pm.

In our traditional camp program, campers’ days are split between fun programs with their bunkmates and daily activities (chugim) of their choice. Campers sign up for new chugim each week based on their own interests.

Who wants to ROCK the SSAT?! Everyone!!! Get an overview of the sections and focus on: test taking skills and strategies, analogies, creative writing, synonyms, quantitative, reading comprehension, and much more.

Get ready to blast off into the world of rockets and discover the amazing science behind them. You'll become a rocket safety superstar by learning all about the model rocket safety code. You'll also uncover the secrets of how rockets soar through the sky, stay perfectly balanced, and return safely to Earth. Each day, you'll get to build a rocket from a sleek and awesome Mad Science rocket kit to a rocket made of toilet paper tubes – how cool is that? You'll also be part of a real launch team! Imagine working together with your new friends as altitude trackers, launch preparers, and launchers. Every day, you'll watch in awe as we send a rocket soaring high into the sky.

Great for children entering 2nd - 5th grade. Children entering K-1st grade will enjoy it as well with a little more help from fellow campers or instructors.

Note: Our camp includes everything your child needs during the camp. However, if you wish to continue your child’s interest in rocket launches at home, you will need to purchase a launch kit online or from a store.

Summer Developmental Camp for Middle School aged children at D1 STL West

Join Mr. Harris, a local elementary school teacher, for DinoSOAR! We will study the early, middle, and late dinosaurs; look at the environment dinosaurs inhabited during different eras; study various dinosaurs and pterosaurs; and discuss differences between herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores. We will explore artifacts and create our own for crafts.

Seasoned climbing instructors from Vertical Voyages are coming to Rossman to help students climb large trees on our campus! Tree climbing is a safe, active, meaningful, and unique outdoor experience that allows participants to explore the canopy of a giant living organism. Vertical Voyages can be a catalyst for learning and growth by providing participants the challenge and opportunity to engage in transformative outdoor experiences. In this immersive camp, students will climb trees using ropes, learn about forest ecology, identify trees, and build skills needed to climb like tying knots.
