In the STEM INNOVATOR Course students will participate in the following two activities. Lunch is included with the cost of registration along with exposure to Maryville's campus and college experiences. Virtual Reality ~ Explore the advancing technology of Augmented and Virtual Reality using Quest 2 Headsets and create virtual worlds of their own through. Students can build their own 3D creations, animate them with code, and share them with friends and family in a virtual space. Virtual and Augmented reality has given us the ability to travel the world, discover underwater life, explore space, and even operate on cadavers, all from the comfort of a classroom or our own homes. Robotics ~ Challenge your own creative and collaborative robotic problem solving skills with this course. Build robots with LEGO’s new SPIKE Prime kits that can accomplish a variety of tasks. Each day will bring a new engineering challenge which students will learn how to solve. Engineers will build a robot to solve that challenge and then program it to do their will! What will you create? Wearable technology, a room alarm, a dancing robot, a personal robot assistant? The possibilities are endless! We will assist and guide you as you work through the Engineering Design Process on your mission. The world is waiting for you to reveal your robotic engineering creations this summer!

This interactive building summer camp, campers will use LEGO® Bricks to build different characters from their favorite video games. Themes such as Super Mario Bros, Roblox, Beyblades, Pokémon, and Minecraft come to life through the use of our robots, mosaics, and 3D art, all made out of LEGO® Bricks. Don't forget classic Nintendo and SEGA themes such as Zelda, Duck Hunt, Pacman, and Sonic the Hedgehog! Each day will be a new adventure as the virtual and LEGO® worlds combine!
