Seasoned climbing instructors from Vertical Voyages are coming to Rossman to help students climb large trees on our campus! Tree climbing is a safe, active, meaningful, and unique outdoor experience that allows participants to explore the canopy of a giant living organism. Vertical Voyages can be a catalyst for learning and growth by providing participants the challenge and opportunity to engage in transformative outdoor experiences. In this immersive camp, students will climb trees using ropes, learn about forest ecology, identify trees, and build skills needed to climb like tying knots.

Climbing is an important part of our curriculum and our equipment is designed to fit campers of all ages. Harness and helmet fitting, basic knot tying, and climbing techniques are some of the topics discussed during this fast paced week. In addition to climbing, our youngest campers will engage in a fun and interactive art project while learning about famous climbers and explorers.

Climbing Adventure campers spend their days practicing the knots, equipment, and techniques needed to rock climb outdoors.
