Inspired learning today - healthy futures tomorrow! Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a doctor and learn about vital organs in the human body.

Camp participants will tackle big questions like "What does it take to be a doctor?" and "How do you deal with life-threatening emergencies?" They'll learn about the key responsibilities of a doctor and how to administer first aid in emergency situations. These future heroes will learn about lung disease, how to perform CPR and Heimlich maneuver, broken bones, hypothermia, how to use a stethoscope, snake bites, discuss the steps to becoming a doctor, and more.

Biting at the bit to learn more about horses? This equine camp is for you! Become a vet for a week and learn all about the care and maintenance of a horse. Take an oath and use real medical tools to keep your newly adopted plush horse happy and healthy. After learning about horse anatomy, riding styles, and nutrition you can ride into the sunset with your diploma. Giddyup!

Be Your Baby’s First Doctor! Students will roleplay the key responsibilities of a pediatrician and learn how to care for a baby. Participants adopt their own adorable plush and learn how to change, bathe, burp, swaddle, and bottle feed a baby. These future doctors will explore the different parts of the brain and spine, perform a physical exam, administer first aid, and discover the functions of the heart and lungs.

Explore what it takes to be a pediatrician and perform a head-to-toe exam on your "adopted" baby doll. Learn about diapering, diaper rash, bottling, burping, the infant Heimlich maneuver, childhood immunizations, and safe sleeping.

Explore what it takes to be a veterinarian and perform a whiskers-to-tail exam on your “adopted” plush cat. Learn about animal body language, how to maintain a healthy and enriching environment for pets, design your own vet clinic and cat toys, and much more!

Explore some of the dangers in the wild such as bug bites, snake bites, and poisonous plants. Learn how to splint a broken leg, tie a tourniquet, filter dirty water, the effects of hypothermia, and 20 ways to use a bandana in emergencies.

Mini Classes provide a variety of after school experiences, with a wide range of offerings such as tennis, pickleball, art, gymnastics, chess, LEGO robotics, and dance. Topics offer students in junior kindergarten through sixth grade an opportunity to explore exciting and enticing academic and non-academic areas. Classes are often taught by Community School teachers, although community organizations such as STAGES, COCA, and Little Medical School also regularly provide classes.
