The SIUE CDF Freedom School Program is a free, six-week, literacy-based summer program for students who have completed grades 5-8 in Spring 2024. The mornings are dedicated to the integrated reading curriculum and afternoons consist of various enrichment on campus, field trips, and social action activities. Freedom School encourages a love of reading and learning through a culturally diverse curriculum.

The six-week program provides literacy building activities, empowerment, meals, snacks and activities, including field trips, at no charge to families. The CDF model also includes extensive testing and evaluation to measure academic progress.

School-aged children are invited to join us for STEAM club, which includes hands on experiments and activities to learn all about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math!

Structured activity and tent camping allow teens to learn valuable outdoor skills, connect with Jesus, and make new friends while enjoying recreation, swimming, hiking, fishing & team building games.

STEAM camp focuses on items related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math, while reinforcing each area of study with the Gospel.

Study halls are available after school for First through Sixth Grade students.
