It’s like Wiffleball... only with a Gruszka “curve.” Learn how to play various types of Wiffleball along with the skills needed to play each position. Hands-on coaching and skill practice will happen each day along with a daily game! Students of all skill levels are welcome to join in for an at bat and no one ever strikes out when having fun with friends at this great backyard game.

This week will be filled with different kinds of poetry. We will read poetry, write poetry, and at the end of the week we will publish and illustrate our creations! Students will have the opportunity to flex their creativity and write about topics that matter to them.

Let’s grow some fun this summer! We have plenty of dirt, insects, and plants... we just need to know how they all work together to make something beautiful and often tasty! Come garden with Mr. Gruszka as you learn how to work, compost, care for, and use a garden, big or small. Handson experience and projects will allow you to take your “budding” skills beyond the garden home with you.

Perform a full show in a week? Why, yes you will! During this intense week of acting, singing, and dancing students will create a full show under the direction of Mrs. Rowan. Paint sets, create props, become characters, and work as a team as you accomplish the nearly impossible, and have a blast doing it! Learn and play various backyard games that are great for all ages. Croquet, washers, wiffleball, kickball, cornhole, and more are taught, played, and, in some cases, built!
