Have fun while using your digital camera to create memorable photos.  Open a whole new world that screams never bored!  Start by learning photography basics, and then how to get the most out of your camera by going beyond the automatic settings.  Learn about using the flash, and how to take great photos of people.  This camp includes on campus photo walks and scavenger hunts.  Our photo finish will include slideshows of the camper's photos.  Bring digital camera, fully charged battery and memory card to camp.

Discover the Lua coding language while designing experiences in ROBLOX®, an online universe where you can create anything you dream of. This class combines game design concepts, coding, and fun! New developers will learn to use Roblox’s Studio software to reimagine the popular game genres with your own custom code! Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Master your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real- world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects. Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that even returning students get a new experience, so join us to design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas.

Our classic game design camp reimagined to include even more of what you love! Make your first video game in this one-of-a-kind class that gives you the keys to designing your first 2D platformer game. Conceptualization, level design, graphics, sounds, and simple coding are just some of the concepts that we’ll explore. No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to have fun! Student projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Spend the week preparing to become the next big comedian! You'll learn improv games and participate in a culminating improv show at the end of the week!

LEGO® Master, I choose you! In the race to be crowned the Ultimate Pokémon Champion, we need your help! Learn to build your favorite Pokémon, level up by teaching them special moves, evolve them into more powerful versions, and come face to face with the current champion in an epic battle for the title. Learn from our Play-Well Pokémon Masters so you can make it to the top!

Customize your own Minecraft world and mod the classic game in this one-of-a-kind camp.  Learn scripting and logic statements as you create your first mods.  Students will create a wide variety of new elements, gameplay mechanics, and world generating mods to change the way you play Minecraft.  Projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students must have the Java version of Minecraft to take this camp.  Tablet, phone, and game console versions of Minecraft are not compatible.  Returing students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years.

In this camp we will sculpt clay and plaster Paper Mache, create lots of drawings and painting projects, and create other art projects with Mrs. Friederich to correlate with the theme of the week.

Rehearse and perform a cabaret-style show of your favorite Disney classics.  At the end of the week, we'll invite an audience to come and watch!

Join us for this week-long experience and be a part of the cast! Students will be assigned characters, costumes, lines, and staging, all while discovering activing techniques to make them stronger performers. At the end of the week, students will perform  the production for audience members.

Experience the entire process of putting on a full-scale show by joining the Young Artist Training Program in performing Honk Jr. the Musical! It is a heartwarming celebration of being different that is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit, unique charm and memorable score. In the two weeks, we rehearse and learn the show, with full sets and costumes. Ending with two exciting performances!

Design a plaster sculpture of a jungle animal, as well as creating collages, paintings and clay projects and crafts with a jungle theme. Be ready to have fun!
