The art of theater is the art of playing! In this introductory acting camp, our Minis will learn the art of story-telling through classic fairy tales such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Jack and the Beanstalk, and more. They will use their imagination and creativity to create their very own fairy tale to share with friends and family.

Improv is an art form where the performers make up the theatre, on the spot. Through the use of improvisational games and valuable improv techniques, this class encourages campers to become more spontaneous, creative, playful, and imaginative, all while developing valuable performance and interpersonal skills.

This acting intensive will offer valuable training that focuses on improving key performance aspects such as emotion, voice, body movement, speech, creativity, imagination, characterization, and audition technique. This camp helps to develop a more well-rounded actor, preparing them for a variety of future performance opportunities.

Work your way through musical theatre in this specialized intermediate level class! Students will be challenged in acting, dance, and voice technique to better prepare them for performing in musical theatre productions. This weeks camp will feature musical excerpts and scenes from "Beetlejuice" and "Mean Girls".

Ready to take your stage presence to the next level? This program bridges the gap between acting and singing, empowering you to own every musical moment. Think beyond belting ballads – we’ll dive deep into the art of creating a scene with your song, and weaving it seamlessly into the character’s journey. This camp is audition only. Live from New York it’s…..well we aren't from NYC, but we will make our own sketch comedy show right here in Chesterfield! Sketch comedy is highly popular and draws on both improv and comedy writing skills. Many performers on SNL got their start at Improv groups such as Second City, Gotham City, UCB. Spend a week laughing, creating and exploring the realm of sketch comedy!
