Does your camper want to be an influencer? This exciting and brand new camp puts a spin on Acting for Stage and Screen where students learn how to create content for social media. Students will create vlogs, day in the life videos, and learn the newest #trends on popular social media outlets. Disclaimer: Your student does not need social media to be involved in this camp.

Let us help you ace your next audition! Campers will focus on the specific characteristics and techniques that will better prepare them to perform with ease, in any situation. By the end of the week, campers will have all the key ingredients to nail their next audition; two contrasting monologues, two 16-32 bar cuts of a musical theatre song, several dance calls, and a resume.

Improv is an art form where the performers make up the theatre, on the spot. Through the use of improvisational games and valuable improv techniques, this class encourages campers to become more spontaneous, creative, playful, and imaginative, all while developing valuable performance and interpersonal skills.

This acting intensive will offer valuable training that focuses on improving key performance aspects such as emotion, voice, body movement, speech, creativity, imagination, characterization, and audition technique. This camp helps to develop a more well-rounded actor, preparing them for a variety of future performance opportunities.

Live from New York it’s…..well we aren't from NYC, but we will make our own sketch comedy show right here in Chesterfield! Sketch comedy is highly popular and draws on both improv and comedy writing skills. Many performers on SNL got their start at Improv groups such as Second City, Gotham City, UCB. Spend a week laughing, creating and exploring the realm of sketch comedy!
