We have a need...a need for BEES! Students will have hands-on experiences with Rossman’s Bees. These adventures will include indoor and outdoor learning with Mrs. Boyd, from tools, hive inspections, common threats and pests, building bee baths, weird but true bee facts, planting flowers, honey taste tests, and more. Students will gain confidence and skills to prepare them for a lifelong love of learning and appreciation of bees! Parents are invited to join the last hour of the last camp day to view the bees from the observation hive, watch a slideshow of pictures from the week, and see what your Junior Beekeeper has learned.

Join Rossman’s Mr. Crossland and Ms. Hutchinson for a culinary adventure! After touring the Rossman kitchen, campers will learn how to be safe and organized as they set out to prepare tasty foods. Campers will enjoy making healthy snacks, decorating cookies, and even making homemade pizzas.

Come join COCA at Rossman for Popstar Superstar! Time to celebrate each child's uniqueness and superstar potential through movement, drama, vocal music and art as well as through reading books like 'Incredible You!' Our superstar kids will creatively dance to family-friendly pop music with fun props they create for a sharing on the last day of class.

Students will dance to songs from some of Broadway's most beloved musicals such as The Lion King, Annie and Peter Pan. On the final day, our emerging stars will share what they have learned with family and friends.

Join Rossman’s Mr. Crossland and Ms. Hutchinson for a culinary adventure! After touring the Rossman kitchen, campers will learn safe techniques for using common kitchen tools and how to prepare ingredients before setting out to cook a meal. Campers will make a few Rossman lunch favorites along with special dishes and snacks.

Join Ms. Victoria for a camp focused on textile art. We will weave a cloth mat and learn how the threads produce a durable product. Then, with fine muslin, we will paint a sign on the woven cloth. The week finishes with a sewing project with the tight weave of socks. Throughout the week we will have a crochet project to fill in time with colorful yarn. Our textile products will be our keepsakes!

Join Mr. Harris, a local elementary school teacher, for DinoSOAR! We will study the early, middle, and late dinosaurs; look at the environment dinosaurs inhabited during different eras; study various dinosaurs and pterosaurs; and discuss differences between herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores. We will explore artifacts and create our own for crafts.

Join us for Tennis the Menace and Dinkasaurus Pickleball, where Tennis and Pickleball combine into one! Games and music keep the energy high while children learn the basic strokes of tennis and pickleball. Your child will have loads of fun learning the many differences and similarities between Pickleball and Tennis. No standing around in long lines––we are moving and grooving from start to end! We tailor each class to the age and ability level of our campers.

Full S.T.E.A.M. ahead with Mrs. Boyd! Summer Camp 2024: Students will explore a variety of S.T.E.A.M. based activities including daily experiments, engineering and building with unusual materials, creating origami artwork, using portable microscopes along the nature trails and much more. Each day will be filled with creativity, curiosity, problem solving and open-ended investigative play.

Seasoned climbing instructors from Vertical Voyages are coming to Rossman to help students climb large trees on our campus! Tree climbing is a safe, active, meaningful, and unique outdoor experience that allows participants to explore the canopy of a giant living organism. Vertical Voyages can be a catalyst for learning and growth by providing participants the challenge and opportunity to engage in transformative outdoor experiences. In this immersive camp, students will climb trees using ropes, learn about forest ecology, identify trees, and build skills needed to climb like tying knots.

Welcome to our "Math in the Kitchen" Math Camp, where numbers meet delicious recipes for an unforgettable week of fun, learning, and tasty discoveries! Join 4th Grade teacher Mrs. Smith to explore and cook food while exploring math concepts such as measurement, fractions, geometry, math puzzles, data and graphs, and more.

Explore 2-D art with Super Spangler! Each day, students will explore a different 2-dimensional art process. They will experiment with collage, painting, printmaking, drawing with a variety of art materials and mixed media. Your young artist will get messy and have fun learning new 2-dimensional art techniques.
