Designed for children ages 5–12, this full-day camp blends structured swim instruction, water safety training, and fun pool activities to create an engaging summer experience. Camp runs 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM and features two hours of pool time daily, plus games, crafts, and themed challenges throughout the week. Each week focuses on developing swimming ability while giving campers a fun environment to build confidence, strength, and water safety skills.

PLEX Kids Summer Camp offers families a unique summer camp experience that combines a balance of activities, choices for projects based on campers’ interests, academic focused activities and entertainment venues unique to the McKendree Metro Rec Plex. Ice Skating, swimming and outdoor play time will be offered every week along with themed activity blocks.

The Lutheran High School Summer Camp program gives our students the chance to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships and develop skills in specific sports or activities all while getting a taste of the LHS experience. Bobby McCormack’s Basketball camps focus on ball handling, passing, shooting, defensive and offensive concepts. Designed to give campers the opportunity to focus on improving their fundamental basketball skills. Emphasis is placed on technique, station work, shooting contests, and 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 game play.

Princess Camp features princess dress‑up, themed dancing, a story of the day, and a coordinating craft.

Ballet, Tap, Creative Movement Combo

Calling all Picassos and Michelangelos! The CSA art teacher will allow your artist to take a tour through many different types of art media and creating. Some techniques that will be explored are painting, printmaking, and drawing. It will be a fun-filled environment in which students can arrive with a little or a lot of knowledge of the visual arts. Art projects will be adapted to meet the levels of students and are new each day. This is a great opportunity for your artist to build a portfolio, learn and improve skills, or just have fun creating something to hang on the kitchen refrigerator.

The CSA Soccer Camp focuses on all skill levels. Players are grouped by age and ability. Special attention is given to instruction in fundamentals and individual skill development. Team play tactics are developed daily in game situations. Players are taught the basics of all positions in individual drills and team competition. The CSA soccer staff will use their expertise to make sure that your camper learns the sport and has fun while doing it. Come join us for this exciting and fun-filled week.

Join Ms. Parent for a fun filled week of baking delicious desserts and more. Campers will have a great time learning how to make a variety of cookies, cakes, and candies. During the week, campers will create their own cookbook and compete for Top Baker. Come join us for a week of deliciousness!
