Grab your aprons and whisks for Young Chefs Camp! This camp will provide campers with a foundation in basic cooking skills. This will include knowledge on kitchen safety, understanding recipe instructions, measuring ingredients accurately and utilizing common kitchen utensils and small appliances. Weather permitting, campers will walk to our Youth Activity Center to use the kitchen there. Campers will have the opportunity to prepare a variety of kid-friendly recipes that can be made at home.

Play basketball where it all started--at the Y! This week your child will develop their shooting, passing and dribbling skills through a variety of games and activities. In addition to skill development, campers will also learn the rules of the game through scrimmages.

CITs (Counselors-in-Training) are provided first-hand experience working with campers and the opportunity to cultivate skills and knowledge in the day camp setting. CITs are selected through an application and interview process. Training and a 4-week commitment are required if selected. Space is limited.

Get ready for a week packed with classic playground fun, friendly competition, and nonstop movement! During Recess Games, campers will explore the best activities from schoolyard recess—plus some creative new twists. Each day features energetic outdoor games, teamwork challenges, and plenty of opportunities for campers to build confidence, practice good sportsmanship, and make new friends.

Whether you love water slides or relaxing in a lazy river, this camp will meet all of your water park adventure dreams. Campers will explore a variety of water parks in the area, attending a new park each day of the week. In the case of inclement weather alternate field trips will be planned. Must be 48" tall to participate in this camp due to water park regulations. Camp fee includes admission costs.

Don't forget your apron, it's time to bake! Campers will learn how to read a recipe, mix ingredients, and make delicious baked goods.
