LEGO technic building with motors. Every week is a new model. Students learn about STEM concepts and improve spatial 3D understanding, volume, and other Math and Engineering concepts.

Learn about architecture worldly monuments and build them using LEGO Bricks. We will learn about and build Arc de Triumph, Burj Khalifa, the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and more! Each child takes home a custom-made mini figure at the end of the session.

From sea creatures of the deep to phoenixes in the sky, every society has its legends and lore. We’ll tell their stories through paintings, sculptures and other works of art. These legends may inspire awe, curiosity or surprise, but they all inspire our imaginations!

Do you have a little one who is born to entertain? In this introductory musical theatre class, young performers will prepare for a life in show business. Focusing on the areas of singing, dancing, and acting. Students will begin learning what it takes to put on a show!

This advanced musical theatre class explores the nuances of some of Broadway’s best family-friendly musicals. Through exciting song, dance, and acting, students will dive deeper into learning stage performance through musical theatre interpretation. NOTE: This class requires a prerequisite. Students must have taken a MT class or performed in a production, before taking this class.

This class will focus on learning proper dance techniques such as body isolations, mastering complex rhythms and patterns, and improving performance quality. Students will learn various styles of Musical Theatre Dance from Fosse, to jazz, to modern movement.

Throughout the semester your student will learn the foundations of acting in this introductory level course. Students will learn about stage directions, character development, memorization, scene study, and monologue performance.

Explore a variety of styles in this fast paced, audition style class. Students will spend each quarter learning combinations from different musicals in a ‘dance call’ environment that will help them to be more comfortable in an audition room.

Students will develop performance techniques while improving motor and communication skills. With personalized attention in an intimate classroom environment, students will learn some of the same pieces as our performing troupe. Unique within the St. Louis region, STAGES’ Access the Arts programs consist of classes, workshops and performance opportunities that enable area youth with physical, cognitive or developmental delays to fully participate in the musical theatre arts.
