Camp Legacy is a summer camp experience like no other. Designed for students entering grades 6–9, and offers the perfect mix of exploration, learning, and fun. This camp is composed of six one-week sessions. Campers will kick off and wrap up their experience with exciting daily excursions during Weeks 1, 4, and 7. Weeks 2, 3, 5, and 6 are filled with hands-on, enriching, and engaging lessons that will spark curiosity and creativity.

Camps will be directed by Lafayette Head Basketball Coach Don Kreienkamp and members of the LHS staff and players. There will be snacks to purchase during and between sessions. Campers can purchase or bring their own lunch to eat between sessions and it will be supervised.

Athletes will participate in running technique drills, speed training, running specific strength training, and endurance conditioning each day. Running safety and technique will be taught. This is an intense conditioning program. Plan on eating a good breakfast and competing against yourself each day. Dates (Saturday practices are for HS only): June 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 18, 22, 25; July 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 30.

Equipment Needed: Water Bottle, Shin Guards, Mouth guard, Field Hockey Stick (we have extras if needed!)

Mini Camps will consist of reviewing correct form, practicing multiple strokes, drills for increased efficiency, conditioning and stretches, review scoring, complimentary tennis balls, and mini-competition. These camps are for all incoming middle and high school boys and girls.

For grades 3-5.

WILL TEACH WRESTLING IN A FUN-FILLED LEARNING CURRENT LAFAYETTE COACHES AND WRESTLERS. BRING THE HEAT FUN CAMP - CAMP WILL BE LEAD BY CURRENT LAFAYETTE COCHES AND WRESTLERS. WRESTLING GAMES WILL BE PLAYED TO HELP LEARN AND REINFORCE SKILLS. WE WILL ALSO TEACH AGILITY, BALANCE, AND COORDINATION ACTIVITIES TO MAKE YOUR SON A BETTER-ROUNDED ATHLETE. YOUR SON WILL LEARN HOW TO FALL, ROLL, AND TUMBLE!!

Our 5 Summer Grind Camp sessions will all have a specific basketball focus to help your athletes continue to not only get better on the court but also help them continue to build their character outside of the four walls of a gym! Ball handling, passing, shooting, defense, footwork and conditioning will all be covered in our summer camps while continuing to work on all aspects of the game. We will include games, competitions and 5 on 5 gameplay to apply what they are learning each day. Spend the summer with us getting better each week! All camps are for rising 3rd-8th graders and from 9am-3pm each day!

With challenging roles, exciting choreography, fun group activities, and lessons in tech for those who love all things behind the scenes, this camp is perfect for teens looking to take their show skills to new heights. The camp culminates in a full production of Shrek Jr., so get ready to step into the swamp and perform with pride! This week-long camp concludes with a fully staged public performance for family and friends on Friday, July 17 at 5pm. THIS CAMP WILL CONSIST OF CAMPERS AGES 9-12.
