Learn the art of extreme camera angles, the stories that drive action movies, and a bit about how to perform daring feats. We write our own action sequences and learn to safely execute falls, stunts, and stage our chase scenes. We also get behind the camera to make our movies, adding special effects to enhance our film. If you have ever wondered why houses are shaped the way that they are or how a building can lean and not fall, this is the camp for you! Working with a professional architect, campers learn about space and design as they create simple floor plans and 3D models of the perfect home or building. Gain inspiration to design "outside the box" by looking at some of the most outlandish buildings from around the world, then create their own extreme, dream building. Architecture Explorer concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.

Campers create and decorate tote and drawstring bags using hand sew and no sew techniques. They embellish their bags with bows, beads, gems, and ribbons. They also enjoy making their own hinged collage boxes using paint, patterned papers, and mod podge. Create as a gift or to decorate your own fabulous room! Bags, Bows, & Boxes concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.

Upcycle a wide range of materials like wood boxes, cans, and jars to create and decorate bird and butterfly houses using bright colored paints or natural materials. Students share and learn to draw the adventures of their favorite crime-biting canine and the world's evilest cat. They apply those cartooning strategies to their own characters, create stories in narrative panels, create dialogue bubbles filled with hilarious wordplay, and ink and color their cartoons. Get ready for an even newer breed of justice! Canine Comic Craft concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.

After exploring all the fun of the circus, campers select a skill to master and share. Circus Circus concludes with an in-person circus extravaganza to share with family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Campers should wear shorts or shorts under skirts or dresses.

Inspired by popular children’s books like If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and Fortune Cookie Fortunes, we read, create art projects, and bake different kinds of cookies each day. Lessons include simple food preparation with an emphasis on skills, such as measuring, mixing, and decorating. Campers are expected to be fully toilet trained and use the toilet independently. Information about food restrictions or allergies must be provided to COCA during the registration process or by contacting the Registration Office by email at least two weeks prior to camp. Campers must adhere to kitchen safety rules. Campers should have their hair pulled back. All culinary supplies and groceries included in price. In an epic battle between superheroes, who would be victorious: a DC or Marvel character? Select a DC character like Superman, Blue Beetle, Flash, or Wonder Woman, OR pick your favorite Marvel character such as Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, or the Hulk. We collaboratively create our own epic story, pitting superhero against superhero, and create a background, props, and costume pieces to stage our story.
