Our Free Saturday Workshop serves Young Learners, entering grades 3rd– 12th, by introducing skills that promote: Self-expression, Collaboration, Critical and Lateral thinking, Responsibility, Independence, and personal sense of empowerment.

Explore hand sewing! Learn how to join pieces of cloth to create soft sculptures, personalized patches, and pillows. Decorate your constructions with simple stitches, felts, buttons, beads, and colorful embroidery threads.

Discover how to use a variety of mechanisms and fun shapes to animate your projects! Create using exciting materials like wood, recyclables, corrugated cardboard, and paper to build kinetic sculptures and puppets crafted to be movable and fun to play with.

Explore fun ways to build with clay! Create mugs, bowls, sculptures, and tiles. Learn handbuilding techniques such as coil, slab, and pinch processes. Decorate and texture your clay artwork by using tools and colorful underglazes. Projects will be fired and ready for pick up three weeks after the last day of camp.

Camp Weloki offers weekend retreats during the school year to introduce new girls to our program and to help keep the learning going for our returning campers. Like all skills, the life skills we teach are learned in steps and girls have to practice and refresh them in order to have the most impact. Our returning campers & parents understand that as life changes the new tools needed are built with the skills they have already learned.

Join us for Art Start every Tuesday morning! Art Start is a great opportunity for your young child to experience art! Art Start story times are geared to the 2–5-year-old preschooler with a caregiver. We will explore several books together and create a small art project that pairs with the stories.
