Located at Crestwood Elementary School, our traditional camp program is designed for current elementary students entering 1st through 6th grades for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. To accommodate busy schedules, we offer convenient hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Each week features a unique theme packed with engaging activities like art, music, science, and games, plus favorites like swimming and snow cones. To round out the experience, every week also includes either an exciting field trip or a visit from a special guest speaker.

Enjoy outdoor education activities and archery! Students build tents, have a fishing derby, participate in orienteering, play yard games and practice archery. Students will learn about camping safety and how to be a responsible hunter and/or camper. Class is taught by PE teacher Mary Driemeyer and Scott Mulvaney. **We are offering afternoon camps (Invasion Games & Competitive Pursuit & Team Games) at Sappington so campers have the opportunity to stay all day and participate in more amazing activities. If students sign up for both morning and afternoon camps, lunch will be supervised.

Do you enjoy robotics, coding, and augmented reality? At Camp Ignite, we believe in the power of imagination, creativity and innovation. Our mission is to encourage STEAM learning experiences through the design and construction of physical objects. Lindbergh educators will lead the activities, which have been designed to support student development, especially in the area of science. Students will engage in making predictions, designing, testing, revising and retesting their project designs. Space is limited!

Fast paced games that involve chasing, fleeing, and dodging. Games include dodgeball, Medic ball, Gaga Ball, and a multitude of large and small group tag games plus some bonus open gym time. PE teachers, Mary Driemeyer and Chris Thomson teach this camp.

Step up your dance game with this hip hop program. Instructors will guide you through learning new moves, skills, and routines. From isolation movements and dynamic footwork to creating a choreographed piece, this program welcomes dancers of beginner to mid-level experience. Elevate your skills in an energetic environment that celebrates creativity! Offered in partnership with The Recreation Academy.

Choices will include How To Draw Pokemon, Minecraft, Cartoon Dragons, Cartoon Animals, Dogman, Captain Underpants, Teen Titans GO, and many more! All supplies included, and for all skill levels.

Each project is inspired by carefree summer days think sunshine, bubbles, color, and imagination.

Our fun and unique program is specially designed for children in 1-5th grade. This curriculum incorporates karate, fun and fitness. Robinson's karate instructors teach basic blocks, punches and kicks while emphasizing a healthy attitude versus absolute precision. Karate can help children improve their focus and concentration and develop self-confidence through exciting and organized activities delivered in a supportive environment. Chess camps are the perfect way for new players to learn the game or for established players to deepen their understanding of the game. Aspiring top tier players can take on some intensive instruction. Trained chess club instructors provide daily lessons, puzzles and play to help guide students through each lesson. Instruction offers a solid basic foundation, emphasizing the fundamental skills needed to begin a lifetime of learning in chess including proper piece and board set-up, algebraic notation (chess language), and principles of play. Offered in partnership with the Saint Louis Chess Club.
