Camp Pegnita is an old-fashioned day camp that gives kids the feel of an away camp right here in Kirkwood, Missouri! Pegnita was founded in 1948, and has been dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable summer for kids ages 5-15 for over 70 years. Activities include archery, arts and crafts, organized sports and games, campfires, cooking, gardening, hiking, and nature activities. Campers ages 5 to 12 receive swimming lessons every morning and free-swim every afternoon in our on-site pool. A special event, like a luau, a magic show, or a camp-wide field day is scheduled every week

At this year's Summer Adventures Camp, we're "traveling" to five different places around the world to learn about the landscapes, cultures and stories those places hold. This camp follows a daily schedule that features social games, active games, themed games (such as escape rooms, giant board games, or other theme-specific activities), art projects, science activities, building challenges and free-choice time where campers can choose their own activities and/or take a break to decompress.

Designed for kids learning the basics of horsemanship (recommended for those with less than one year of horse experience).

For riders with some horse experience (recommended for those with at least one year of riding lessons).

Each day, students will create art using a variety of art processes. We will be drawing, painting, and sculpting. The artwork we create will be themed around mythical creatures!

This camp will focus on individual skill development - shooting, passing, dribbling, and defense. The Lutheran South coaching staff and players will provide focused skill instruction so that you improve your game day by day.

Camps will include instruction and skill development. Campers will participate in various drills and games to learn the fundamentals of basketball with others in similar grade levels.

This camp will help girls improve their softball skills no matter their skill level. Drills and games will be utilized to help campers enjoy the game while encouraging others.

Work with MLS Next and LuSo varsity players to improve your skills. The day will begin with drills and culminate with games in a World Cup Challenge.

This camp is for students who want to be in both advanced and jazz band camps. Campers will explore the different styles and articulations that jazz uses as well as basic improvisation. This camp is open to all band instruments plus guitar, bass guitar, and piano. Students who are only interested in jazz camp or who would play a different instrument for jazz camp than for advanced band camp should contact Mr. Sanft directly at esanft@LSlancers.org.

The goal of this camp is to help girls develop into well-rounded players by working on the technical and tactical elements of volleyball. Campers will improve their individual skills through drills, as well as through games.

This camp is designed to accomplish two goals: have fun and become better football players. In this non-contact camp, campers will receive expert instruction on football fundamentals, skills, and techniques. Campers will engage in one-on-one drills allowing each of them the opportunity to transfer individual skills taught in camp to game play experiences.

This class introduces grade school children to the fundamentals of musical theater in a safe, encouraging environment. Campers will explore movement, music and storytelling while learning the skills to perform.

Join us for an exciting Cheer Camp designed for kids ages 4 years old through 8th grade! Running Monday through Thursday, this fun-filled camp will introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of cheerleading, including cheers, jumps, basic tumbling, stunts, and a pom routine.

Grade School Tennis camp will introduce campers to basic tennis techniques, court positioning, scorekeeping, and limited match play if skill levels allow. The camp will be drill-oriented, learning the basic strokes of forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, and the serve. Campers will also compete against each other in mini-games.
