Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Pee Wee Camps are a fun introduction to golf, the fundamentals of the game and simple rules and etiquette...all while having fun! Students will be introduced to putting, chipping, and full swing all through age-appropriate game-based teaching methods. There will also be activities that work on balance, coordination, locomotion, and body awareness to help the campers improve their overall athletic skills. Skill Level: New/Beginner.

Join a St. Louis County Park Ranger and spend the week learning to be good anglers. Each day the group will venture out to a new fishing location in a St. Louis County Park. Learn to catch a wide variety of native species.

High school students and future college freshmen: explore your interests in life science and health care at Logan University’s one-week summer program. Taught in small groups by physicians and professionals from various medical specialties, you’ll study physical anatomy, body systems, health, wellness and prevention and gain hands-on experience in dissection, radiology and more.

The Joseph Baldwin Academy is a three-week residential program on the Truman State University campus that offers an academically challenging curriculum for students that have completed grades 7-9. This summer academy introduces highly talented middle and junior high students to college life in general. Live in a residence hall and adapt to living with a roommate; Select one class offered in an area of the liberal arts, including the humanities, fine arts, natural sciences, and social sciences; and Work with exceptional teachers, engage in the Truman community, and make new friends from around the country.

Tiny Trekkers is a weekly drop off program for ages 3 – 5. Preschoolers will explore our nearly 500 acres of preserve through hands-on experiences out in nature. This program takes place every Tuesday from 9 – 11:30 am, September through May. Tiny Trekkers is a great complement to part time preschool programs, as preparation for entering preschool or kindergarten, or even as an addition to a PreK/K homeschool program. Children must be able to use the restrooms independently. Limited spots are available.

Bring your little one for Reggio-inspired forest play. Various invitations will be offered to spark your child’s curiosity, creativity, and problem solving skills. Ages 18 months - 6 years are invited to these special play days. All activities take place around the playground. This is an open-house style program – feel free to arrive and leave at any time between 9 - 11 am. FREE for members and non-members. Are you looking for a fun summer activity for your kids? Tye-Dyed Iguana offers a one week summer camp in house! During our camp, your child will be immersed in a world of exotic reptiles and bugs through hands-on education and demonstrations. They will spend five days in our store doing crafts and learning about animals. They will also receive a Tye-Dyed Iguana T-shirt that the entire class will Tie-Dye during one of their afternoons. Summer camp is for Kindergarten - 6th grade.
