Join us all summer long for our action-packed traditional summer camp experience where kids will laugh, explore, and create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime! Campers will learn new sports, experience the outdoors, go swimming twice a week, go on field trips, and so much more! Every week has a different theme with varied activities planned by our experienced youth professionals to ensure campers have the best summer ever!

The Hazelwood Summer Day Camp Program is a traditional eight-week day camp designed for campers ages 6-11. Activities include games, crafts, STEM, field trips, swimming, and more. The camp takes place at White Birch Park, utilizing outdoor park spaces, the Hazelwood Community Center, White Birch Bay Aquatic Center.

Our Summer Fun Day Camp will provide a fun and entertaining environment for your child through the work week. Let your child enjoy their summer with us at our parks! They will form new friendships while participating in different activities throughout the week such as; sports, cooking, swimming, water activities, crafts, field trips, games and so much more!

Safety Town is a nationally-accredited program designed to teach children how to play safe and stay safe. Children will develop confidence and knowledge they need during the beginning of their first years in school. The course will be taught at the Early Childhood Center by St. Charles City Police Officers, Park Rangers, Paramedics, Firefighters, Animal Control Officers and trained staff and volunteers from the Early Childhood Center. The program uses a simulated city layout, a classroom facility and an off-campus field trip to provide kids with “real life” events and teach kids to evaluate “safe” from “unsafe” situations, and how to react safely. Space is limited and early enrollment is encouraged.

We make space for child-led exploration and uninterrupted play to foster independence, confidence, and inclusion. Prickly Pears offers 2- and 5-day programs. Consistency and time are key for children to make meaningful relationships, settle into a rhythm, and grow. For that reason, we ask that you commit to at least 3 weeks of camp.

2 day camps focused on mastering the PWA Elite program’s core set of drill routines.

At this camp, wrestlers will master the 78 mandatory techniques every elite athlete must know. By the end, you’ll be technically prepared to take on top-level competition and fully equipped to walk into any college wrestling room in America.

Our Youth Wrestling Camp is designed specifically for boys and girls ages 6–9, combining high-quality wrestling instruction with a safe, structured, and fun overnight camp experience. This camp is fully supervised day and night, with: Boys and girls bunked separately Female coaches staying in the girls’ bunkhouses Male coaches staying in the boys’ bunkhouses Staff assisting campers with daily routines, meals, and transitions Each day includes: Age-appropriate wrestling instruction Built-in rest and relaxation time Games, activities, and supervised evening fun Movie nights with age-appropriate films Our goal is to help young athletes build confidence, learn fundamentals, make friends, and have fun, all while giving parents complete peace of mind. This camp is ideal for first-time campers and young wrestlers looking for a positive introduction to overnight camp.
