Charge into a thrilling experience with Skyhawks Lacrosse! This program teaches young athletes essential lacrosse skills like stick-handling and shooting in a supportive, non-contact setting. All equipment is provided (although personal sticks are welcome). Lacrosse programs foster a sense of teamwork while participating in this fun and fast-paced sport.

Heavy Metal Music Camp focuses on the pioneers of Heavy Metal such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and many more! This 5-day camp will feature soaring vocals, shredding guitar, and thundering bass and drums. This camp is great for metal heads 7-18 who have had some previous instruction. Come raise your horns as we salute the Gods of Heavy Metal!

Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This three-day camp runs Monday through Wednesday.

Want to play in a band on stage? Our Rock 101 music camp is designed for beginners 7-12 years old. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s music camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 8-18 years old who have had some previous instruction.

The Beatles are undoubtedly one of the most important rock n roll bands of all time and their songs have greatly influenced the direction of modern music. Come celebrate the best songs from their vast collection of hits and billboard topping classics. Students at this music camp will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from The Beatles, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 8-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.

Campers will learn the music of 60s and 70s rock icons such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones in our Classic Rock music camp. In addition to rock songs, students will learn about rock history and the stagecraft needed to perform on stage. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years old who have had some previous instruction.

Campers will save the planet this week of camp (or at least try out some fun ways to be eco-friendly)! We’ll make homes for our animal neighbors out of recycled materials, play games, and learn how to become a champion of the wild.

Baseball camp is for players of all levels who want to improve their skills. We will focus on mastering the fundamentals of the game through drills, competitions, and games, as well as position-specific work for each player. Led by Westminster’s varsity head, assistant coaches, and varsity players.

Boys basketball camp will guide campers on individual skill development. We will emphasize fundamental skills in proper footwork, ball handling, shooting preparation and technique, passing, rebounding, and offensive/defensive concepts. Campers will play 1 on 1, 3 on 3, 5 on 5, and other fun games/contests while learning about team building, perseverance, and character.

Join Westminster high school coaches and football players for this non-padded football skills camp. Campers will be taught fundamental skills for offensive and defensive positions. They will also play flag football and other fun games and contests while learning the value of team building, effort, and fair competition. Campers will be separated into groups by age as much as possible.

Warm up your forehand and backhand! The Beginner sessions will focus on basic tennis skills and is for players learning to sustain a rally by hitting the ball back and forth. Each participant should bring his or her own racket, tennis shoes, and water bottle. Led by Westminster middle school coach and current Kirk Day School teacher Debbie Legters.
