Freedom School is a free, six-week summer program serving scholars in grades K–5 across the St. Louis region. Hosted by Beyond Housing in partnership with Deaconess Foundation, our program focuses on building strong readers, confident leaders, and joyful learners through culturally responsive education and meaningful community connections.

For students grades 6-8, concentrating on band music in the concert setting. Students work in sections as well as rehearse with full band throughout the camp. Students should have at least one year of school band involvement before attending this camp.

Wildercamp is a play-based, Forest School-inspired nature camp which takes place in local parks in St Louis. Children ages 10 who have been before can arrive early to help welcome new children in JUNE only and register as a Junior Counselor to receive an extra $10 off registration.

Wildercamp is a play-based, Forest School-inspired nature camp which takes place in local parks in St Louis. Children ages 12+ can be Counselors in June. (In JULY, Counselors must be 13 yrs or older). Children ages 11 who have attended before and get approval from the Director can also be Counselors (no charge) in JUNE.
