William Jewell College and Liberty Hospital have collaborated to host the second annual Summer Nursing Camp. This two-day event is an opportunity for aspiring nurses or students interested in healthcare professions to immerse themselves in a nursing college and hospital clinical experience. Activities include a hospital tour, simulation lab experiences, professional panel and social activities.

Ages 2.5 - 6 are invited to a special spring program! Children will investigate our vermicompost bin, plant their own seeds to take home, and explore gardening & plant activities. We’ll end the morning with a special snack on picnic blankets.

Calling all homeschool families! Elementary sessions require a parent or guardian to attend with their child. Discover what helps birds fly, different wing shapes, and the parts and pieces that make up a bird. Use binoculars to spot our local bird populations and log them in an international scientific community!

During our camp, your child will be immersed in a world of exotic reptiles and bugs through hands-on education and demonstrations. They will spend five days in our store doing crafts and learning about animals. They will also receive a Tye-Dyed Iguana T-shirt that the entire class will Tie-Dye during one of their afternoons. Summer camp is for Kindergarten - 6th grade.
