Senior Camp is for children ages 5 to 6 includes the following major activities: Montessori, daily swimming, arts & crafts, sports & games and daily pony rides. Each group of children has a junior counselor who remains with the group throughout the day and serves as the assistant for each activity. In addition, there is an assistant swimming instructor in the pool at all times along with the head swimming instructor. Children registered in this group MUST be 100% potty trained without the use of pull ups.

Campers will gain a greater understanding of our solar system by learning about the planets and sun through hands-on science activities. Campers will be joined by a retired astronaut who will interact with campers during an activity. Campers will also receive a photo with the astronaut and their autograph. Astronaut will be announced soon. $100 additional fee applies.

In Mars Academy, teams of campers will find out if they have what it takes to survive on Mars! Activities and training will center around building a sustainable colony on Mars where campers will compete to earn various resources.

As Astro Recruits progress toward their end goal of establishing life on another planet, they must first successfully live in outer space. In Mission: Astro Lab, campers will work as a team to send a crew using the Astralis capsule-based simulator to a space station. Activities include a focus in SCUBA training and experimentation and introduce campers to careers in business, health science, human services, and marketing. Campers will be joined by a retired astronaut who will interact with campers during an activity. Campers will also receive a photo with the astronaut and their autograph. Astronaut will be announced soon. $100 additional fee applies.

Now that campers have landed on the Moon, they are moving on to the next challenge: Mars. Learn what it takes to build and survive in a Martian Settlement. Activities include a focus on living on Mars, and introduce campers to careers in food, government and law, and manufacturing. Campers will be joined by a retired astronaut who will interact with campers during an activity. Campers will also receive a photo with the astronaut and their autograph.

Back by popular demand! Road trip to one of the biggest space cities in the US: Houston, TX. In order to attend this trip, campers must complete Mission: Martian Base (can be done in the same summer). Previous Colorado campers are welcome. More information will be released as we book different venues.

A half-week session for young campers with adult chaperones. Spend quality one-on-one time with a special child in your life: son, daughter, grandchild, niece, nephew, godchild. Choose some activities you both enjoy, like canoeing, crafts, creek walks, and horseback riding. Play games and laugh together. Make new friends on a hayride and share meals around the table. Explore God’s love together.

You’ll get to play on the water mat, ride a horse, jump in the gaga pit, create a craft, hook a fish, roast hot dogs and marshmallows and make memories with new friends. Our Settler camp is designed to help you settle in and get to know DuBois Center and all it has to offer.

This summer, join the University of Maryland’s Terp Young Scholars program for a transformative pre-college experience. In just three weeks, high school students (rising grade 10 to graduating grade 12) will have the opportunity to challenge their academic curiosity, connect with faculty, and earn three university credits.
