A fun-filled overnight experience for students entering their senior year of high school. Participants will explore ways to design a futuristic city that sets a new standard for sustainability. Participants will work in small groups to design the various city systems, including infrastructure, water and sewer systems, electricity, city services such as garbage and recycling collection, recreation and leisure facilities, traffic systems, air quality issues, food and agriculture, and much more. There are two identical sessions of Engineering State in 2026. Choose the one that works for your schedule. The first session is June 18-19 and the second session is June 22-23. The camp is on the USU Logan campus and students stay in dorms.

Take your craft to the next level with this two-week course. Hone your audition technique, deep dive into scene work, and learn more about the professional theatre scene in St. Louis and beyond. Metro Theater Company and Saint Louis University invite advanced middle school students to explore acting, improv, voice, movement, and more with professional theater artists! Campers will also participate in a field trip and workshops at Metro Theater Company in the Grand Center Arts District. Attending Grand Theater Camp: Intro to Acting is suggested but not required. Lunch will be provided daily by SLU dining. There will be a performance for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Camp EmpowerHER: Confidence, Creativity, Community is a weeklong leadership experience for rising 7th and 8th grade girls who want to grow, discover their strengths, and get a true feel for what it means to be a Nerinx Marker. Rooted in the Nerinx philosophy “Know Yourself, Know Your World,” this camp invites girls to explore their gifts through hands-on projects, reflection, team challenges, neighborhood groups, and real-world adventures around Webster. Campers will build confidence, strengthen soft skills, create art and inventions, practice leadership, and form meaningful friendships—all while engaging with the Nerinx values of faith, service, justice and respect.
