Students will explore monologues and scenes while learning how to use the text to shape authentic, compelling performances. Through exercises that mirror professional techniques, participants will build strong characters, develop stage presence, and stay grounded physically and vocally. This class is perfect for acting enthusiasts or any student looking to expand their skills and take their performance abilities to the next level, culminating in a dynamic showcase for family and friends.

Sing, dance, act—and find your voice! This high-energy camp explores two pop-driven, ensemble-packed musicals that celebrate freedom, fun, and self-expression. Teens will sharpen their vocal, dance, and acting skills while performing scenes and songs from Footloose and & Juliet, all culminating in a showcase that’s bold, confident, and totally stage-ready.

Take your acting skills to the next level! This Teen Acting Intensive is a focused yet fun week-long camp where students dive into scenes from popular plays and musicals to learn how great performances are built. Campers will explore how to break down a scene into beats, make strong character choices, and connect honestly with scene partners. Through hands-on exercises, rehearsal, and performance, students will practice the foundations of acting that support success in all areas of theatre. The week culminates in a showcase performance that highlights growth, confidence, and bold storytelling—serious skill-building with plenty of energy, creativity, and fun along the way!

Step into the spotlight and become a true triple-threat! In this intensive week-long summer camp, students will develop their skills in acting, singing, and dancing through the emotional storytelling of Dear Evan Hansen and the gritty world of The Outsiders. Campers will explore character development, expressive movement, and vocal technique while diving into the themes of friendship, identity, and self-discovery. Each day combines skill-building exercises with scene work and musical numbers, culminating in a showcase performance where students bring their characters to life on stage. This camp is perfect for young performers ready to stretch their talent, build confidence, and collaborate with fellow artists.

At U-CREATE Summer Camp, campers can expect an array of sports, recreational activities, crafts, and team building challenges that meet the diverse interests and capabilities of our campers. Campers will build meaningful relationships with fellow campers and staff while creating their U-CREATE legacy this summer! The camp will run Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. All of our camp counselors are CPR/AED and First Aid certified for children. Please be aware that there will be NO camp on June 19 or June 30 – July 4. Week 3 of camp will be prorated to reflect the 4 days of camp.

We have a need...a need for BEES! Students will have hands-on experiences with Rossman’s Bees. These adventures will include indoor and outdoor learning. Starting with suits and safety, we’ll explore the hives, tools, common threats and pests, weird but true bee facts, honey taste tests, and more. Students will gain confidence and skills to prepare them for a lifelong love of learning and appreciation of bees! No prior experience necessary.

Young artists and sweet-tooths, joining us for a creative and delicious week. We’ll learn about decorating using fondant, marzipan, candies, and more! Each day, students will design an edible masterpiece. Taught by Rossman’s 4th Grade Teacher Mrs. Smith.

Learn real martial arts techniques, improve coordination, and enjoy interactive drills and games in a camp full of high-energy fun! No experience is needed–just a positive attitude and willingness to try something new! Students will explore a variety of S.T.E.A.M. based activities including daily experiments, engineering and building with unusual materials, creating origami artwork, using portable microscopes along the nature trails and much more. Each day will be filled with creativity, curiosity, problem solving and open-ended investigative play. Taught by Rossman’s Mrs. Boyd.

Learn fun ways to move, play, and work together by sailing on floor scooters! To mix things up, students will also practice ball handling skills and early exposure to basketball. Taught by Rossman PE teacher Mr. Holliday.

Era’s Tour Swifties? KPop Demon Hunters? Songs from Wicked? Learn choreography to a medley of your favorite songs! Each day we’ll learn new dance techniques and choreography to perform a recital on the last day of camp. Mrs. Waldman has choreographed for 10 years in Clayton and teaches elementary school.
