High-energy campers enjoy exploring the world of the circus with circus professionals. Campers practice circus skills and trampoline; work on stilt walking, rola bola, and rolling globe; and explore tightrope walking, juggling, spinning plates, balancing peacock feathers, diablo, flower sticks, and clowning skills. After exploring all the fun of the circus, campers select a skill to master and share. Circus Circus concludes with an in-person circus extravaganza to share with family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Campers should wear shorts or shorts under skirts or dresses.

Mystery fans enjoy this camp where we create and solve mysteries each day. Participants put together the pieces of a puzzle to solve the challenge; then, create their own whodunnits for classmates to solve "scavenger hunt" style. COCA Clue concludes with an in-person mystery performance for family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Cut, rip, layer, and paste like the greats to build your own world by collaging. Campers learn the foundations of collaging by using different mediums, such as paper, prints, and fabric, to create works of art. Working with an artist, campers create portraits and more through the art of collaging. Collaging & Crafting concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.

Campers delve into a range of comic book/graphic novel storytelling methods, including autobiographical, straight fiction, manga, superhero, and crime. From scriptwriting and storyboarding to penciling and inking in every style imaginable, we explore how artists’ creative choices affect the way the story is understood while working on the technical skills of drawing comic panels. Comic Books & Graphic Novels concludes with campers bringing home work they created.

Get your passports ready and explore the world. Campers learn and practice basic culinary skills while traveling the world through food. Visit a new country every day and make a new cuisine that teaches you a little bit more about their culture. Information about food restrictions or allergies must be provided to COCA during the registration process or by contacting the Registration Office by email at least two weeks prior to camp. Campers must adhere to kitchen safety rules. Campers should have their hair pulled back. All culinary supplies and groceries included in price.

Campers work on the basics of plot and characterization as we improvise short scenes based on classic stories, fairy tales, and current pop culture. We formalize some of our best ideas into short written scenes to refine, revise, and rehearse. We create our own characters (be they clones, aliens, or Jedi) to create a collective story from our own imaginations. Campers create backdrops and props to support our story. May the force be with us! Jedi Masters concludes with families receiving a digital link of their camper's work sent the week following camp. Calling all preschool paleontologists! Join us for brontosaurus building, diplodocus dancing, stegosaurus sculpture, and ankylosaurus acting. We create our own fossils and dino art as well as read, tell, and imagine stories about our favorite dinosaurs. Come explore the Jurassic period and create some pre-historic fun. Don’t forget to bring your imagination! Jurassic Art concludes with campers bringing home the work they created. Campers are expected to be fully toilet trained and use the toilet independently.
