This camp celebrates one of the greatest soccer events in the game. We not only want to teach soccer knowledge and skills from experienced coaches but also the history of the world cup and the countries that participate. We teach kids about countries and culture, train within teams and age groups to develop ball skills, and participate in a tournament at the end of the week. Baseball Tots classes focus on fine and gross motor skills as well as body control. We teach all the baseball basics, such as throwing, catching, hitting and running control. We are excited to help these little ones develop a love of the game. Offered in partnership with Skyhawks Sports Academy.

Students will learn there is a time and a place for martial arts training. The program integrates: self-defense techniques, conditioning and skill orientated games aiming to improve your child’s motor skills, agility and flexibility. Led by a certified trainer from Finney’s All N 1 Fitness and MMA.

Ace your game! Levels designed with US Tennis Association to offer players the chance to develop needed skills. All classes are offered in partnership with Vetta Sunset Tennis. This class revolves entirely around having FUN, developing hand/eye coordination, and introducing basic stroke fundamentals. Proper rallying and serving aspects are explored while students are exposed to the basic rules of the game. Players will be divided into groups based on experience.

Reuse, reduce, and recycle! Spend the week exploring the different crafts, activities, and games that you can make using all the different recycled materials. Make multiple crafts using repurposed materials and learn about the different ways that you can live a more sustainable lifestyle!

Bring characters to life with unique animations you design. Student-created projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

In this camp, we will look at the animals, plants, water, and vegetation that thrive at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and the top of Devil’s Tower. In this camp, you will create a 3D sculpture, drawings, and a clay project. The SCC campus has many types of plants, flowers, trees, and animals to discover and draw. If you are a nature person, this camp is for you.

Miss Manners might not approve, but your child definitely will! Super Gross Science camp is a week of learning about our gross bodily functions. Burping, boogers, excrement, gas, saliva, germs and how our brain, cells, heart, organs and blood contribute to this.
