Calling all summer crafters! We are going to create again. This year’s crafts will be all new, different from last year, and just as much fun! So come on back or come for the first time to enjoy new themes, projects, and recipes. Can’t wait to see you!

Unleash your love for dogs at the Dog Days of Summer camp! Campers are invited to join us for a paws-itively fun adventure filled with learning, crafting, and plenty of tail-wagging excitement. Campers will learn about dog care, training, and behavior, all while spending quality time with our beloved school pet, Skipper! Craft enthusiasts can look forward to making bandanas and other dog-themed crafts.

Come spend time working and playing in the woods of Community School. Campers will learn to use basic tools outdoors to make games, toys, and crafts using the green wood of the forest. They will also learn about the trees, plants, and animals that fill our incredible natural world!

It’s like wiffleball... only with more Gruszka “curve.” Learn how to play various types of wiffleball, as well as the skills needed to play positions in the game. Hands-on coaching and skill work will be completed each day, along with at least one daily game. Students of all skill levels are welcome to join in for an at-bat, and no one ever strikes out when having fun with friends in this classic backyard game.

Take a journey to the farthest reaches of the imagination while learning about Mars, Hollywood, and a futuristic city! Use the design thinking process to solve real-world problems. Experiment with Crayola® products and art techniques like sculpting and mixed media. Discover design careers like graphic design, fashion design, and architectural design.

Learning to code becomes collaborative, active, and joyful! Use Unruly Splats (programmable floor buttons) to code and play sports-themed games that teach computational thinking skills, teamwork, and ingenuity through movement and play! Work together to brainstorm, code, and test creative new versions of Splats games, building teamwork and design skills.

Join us for rescue-themed fun with crafts, obstacle courses, and Adventure Bay missions. We’ll have fun with the whole Paw Patrol crew, including hanging out with our own real-life “Marshall,” a.k.a. Skipper. Perfect for young Paw Patrol fans who love action, teamwork, and big summer smiles!

Throughout this camp, we’ll strengthen our bodies and minds as we explore hands-on activities that challenge balance, control, and creativity. We’ll roll out dough, draw cool designs, complete obstacle courses, and more to develop our motor skills in exciting ways.

Enjoy all things Pokémon! From cards, Pokémon Go, to even creating new and improved Pokémon, students will be able to immerse themselves in this incredible universe to learn about our natural world, get creative, and play exciting games!

We will use a sewing machine, hand stitches, and embroidery, and when we need a break, we will make creations using 3D techniques or work on puzzles. Want a camp they can’t get enough of? This is it! Gaga Ball, 9-Square In The Air, Foam Tipped Archery, Kickball, Dodgeball, Water Wars, and so much more. During this awesome camp, participants will be separated into appropriate age groups, and activities will change every 30-60 minutes. This program is structured to keep your child engaged, learning, and having fun throughout the morning.

Science, engineering, and art join forces to create colorful and sometimes messy projects. This year features fizzy reactions with baking soda and vinegar. Make color changing potions and hatch fizzy frozen dragon eggs. Use the chemical reactions to blow bubbles, paint, write secret messages, and launch film canister rockets. Each day also includes engineering and team-building challenges.

Spend a week with the owner of STLWags learning about positive training for puppies. We will explore clicker training, adopt a stuffed friend, learn many fun training games and exercises, do some crafts, and then practice what we have learned with a visit from a live, hypoallergenic puppy on the final day! Each camper will receive a STLwags Jr. Trainer certificate in a special ceremony at the end of camp!
