Sign up for a thrilling week of new adventures and friends in St. Charles or St. Louis. Watch as your climber gains the confidence to reach new heights! Campers engage in several activities throughout the day. They learn proper climbing etiquette and technique before developing these skills during the week. They also play games such as toga ball, four-square, and gaga ball which are supplemented with arts, crafts, and other downtime activities.

Aspiring fashion designers design and build a complete look for the runway. They practice rendering and illustration, machine and hand sewing and embellishment techniques to complete the garments and accessories. Gain inspiration and critique from local designers and fashion professionals throughout the week as you create portfolio level work. Intensive includes a Fashion Show on Friday, June 12 at 6:00PM on the mainstage. Intensive participants should have an intermediate to advanced level understanding of machine sewing prior to camp. Race against the clock with COCA theatre instructors to create five plays in five days. Young actors and playwrights use improvisation and theatre games, as well as familiar and fantastic stories to create their own quick scripts and performances. Putting these energetic creations on their feet, we discover ways to revise and refine skills in both writing and acting. Hurry! There is no time to waste! A Play a Day concludes with an in-person performance for family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Campers engage in a high-energy, fun-filled week in which they learn the about the cultures of West Africa through traditional West African dance, djembe drumming, storytelling, African mask making, and other arts activities. African Beats concludes with an in-person performance during the final 20 minutes of camp.

Campers learn the fundamentals of drawing the popular anime style used in My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. They learn how to draw facial expressions, hands, fabric folds, and forms while developing their own characters and stories. They learn to develop stories in narrative panels and ink their images. The camp ends with images to frame or put together in a story to form a comic book. Anime Basics concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.

Campers take inspiration from images in pop art for the creative work in this camp. Using artists like Warhol and Lichtenstein as inspiration, we design a personal icon and print it on a T-shirt, create narrative art using comic strips, and make unique self-portraits using non-traditional materials and techniques. Art Attack concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.

You're invited to join in for a celebration of all things "bestie." We create slipper socks for you to enjoy at your own sleepovers all summer long. We design and embellish T-shirts, headbands, picture frames, and decorative pillows. We create friendship bracelets for you to exchange and create our own best friend stories. Bring your BFF, or make a new one! Besties concludes with campers bringing home the work they created. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.

The camp culminates in a musical revue of songs from popular musicals, such as The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, and Shrek The Musical. Broadway Believers concludes with an in-person performance for family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Using songs from shows they collaboratively decide on, campers weave together a revue. Broadway Blockbusters concludes with an in-person performance with family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Students share and learn to draw the adventures of their favorite crime-biting canine and the world's evilest cat. They apply those cartooning strategies to their own characters, create stories in narrative panels, create dialogue bubbles filled with hilarious wordplay, and ink and color their cartoons. Get ready for an even newer breed of justice! Canine Comic Craft concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.

High-energy campers enjoy exploring the world of the circus with circus professionals. Campers practice circus skills and trampoline; work on stilt walking, rola bola, and rolling globe; and explore tightrope walking, juggling, spinning plates, balancing peacock feathers, diablo, flower sticks, and clowning skills. After exploring all the fun of the circus, campers select a skill to master and share. Circus Circus concludes with an in-person circus extravaganza to share with family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Campers should wear shorts or shorts under skirts or dresses.

We discover the world of art and movement through an exploration of color. Campers use imaginative palettes as we draw, paint, and move with a focus on dazzling hues. We encounter great artists throughout history who used color in surprising and amazing ways while creating works in all the colors of the rainbow. Colorful World concludes with campers bringing home the work they created. Campers are expected to be fully toilet trained and use the toilet independently. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.

Campers delve into a range of comic book/graphic novel storytelling methods, including autobiographical, straight fiction, manga, superhero, and crime. From scriptwriting and storyboarding to penciling and inking in every style imaginable, we explore how artists’ creative choices affect the way the story is understood while working on the technical skills of drawing comic panels. Comic Books & Graphic Novels concludes with campers bringing home work they created.
