At New City School we recognize that an 8:30 am-3:30 pm day can be inconvenient for many families. Therefore, care is provided starting at 7:00 am and continues after school until 6:00pm. Whether you need full-time after-care or just a day here or there, New City School Extended Day can meet your needs. Our regular Extended Day program includes snack, recess, study hall, and planned activities in a low-key, but structured environment. In addition, talents classes are offered during this time. This after-school time gives our students the opportunity to try new things, express their creativity, work for an important cause and to exercise all of their multiple intelligences.

After-School Classes further enhance a student’s After Care experience. Seasonal sessions typically run 4–6 weeks; pricing is variable based on the subject area and program length. Offerings include (but are not limited to!) study hall, tennis, dance, golf, chess, and more, plus Girls on the Run each spring. Classes are taught at Forsyth by current and former faculty and staff members or outside partner vendors (examples include Frontenac Racquet Club, St. Louis Scott Gallagher, etc.). Family may also arrange private art lessons, music lessons, and tutoring directly with Forsyth faculty members.

CMS recognizes that today’s working families need options beyond the traditional academic school schedule. Our extended care program is available for children between the hours of 7 am and the start of school, and after school until 6pm. The program provides a good balance of indoor and outdoor activities. Care is also available for many of the school’s holidays, including some days during winter break, and spring break care.

Before-Care runs from 7:20 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Infant - 3rd-grade students must be walked into the building and sign in to Before-Care. 4th - 8th-grade students may walk in independently if a Before-Care worker is in view. A $10 fee per child will be billed per use. We encourage parents to complete the registration link for this service before attending care. Before-Care starts after the first week of school. We do not offer Before-Care or After-Care during the first week of school.

The before and after school care program is open to all ASLS students from age 2 - 8th grade. Before school care begins at 7am and after school care ends at 6pm.

St. John Neumann is pleased to offer safe, high quality, before and after school care for PreK-8th grade students enrolled in our school. We offer the ideal combination of homework and play time. Our Neumann Club staff provides a nurturing environment that is structured and safe. Students have access to computers, space to do homework, games, and are allowed play time outside when weather permits. A light snack is included after school.

Aftercare runs from 3:45 p.m - 6 p.m daily. No child will be released to anyone other than the parent without prior written authorization. Anyone authorized to pick up a child other than the parent will require a form of I.D. We encourage parents to complete the registration link for this service before attending care.

Kid Kare is the CCLS before and after school program for students in grades Kindergarten through grade 8, held at the Elementary Campus of CCLS. Morning Kid Kare starts at 7:00am, and afternoon Kid Kare ends at 5:30pm. Students in grades 5-8 may ride the shuttle bus to the Elementary Campus to attend Kid Kare. Bus ride charges will apply. Please complete this form (one form per child) and indicate your payment preference. We will continue to use Brightwheel for attendance, afternoon KidKare students will need to be checked out through Brightwheel.
