Girl Scouts will learn about native woodpeckers through an engaging lesson and a hands-on craft, where you'll discover fascinating facts about their behavior, habitat, and role in the ecosystem. After the lesson, we'll hike through their natural habitat, keeping our eyes and ears open for woodpeckers and other native birds. This event also counts toward points on our Winter Challenge checklist!
