This class is for students with limited to no experience in jazz or those with some experience in other dance styles. Students will learn and build on fundamental skills while performing fun combinations to upbeat music. This is a great class for “older” beginners.

This class is for students who have progressed through the precious gems series, or have had at least 2 to 3 years of dance experience, and demonstrate consistency in dance skills. Dance vocabulary will be expanded and more focus will be placed on understanding correct demonstration of technique, particularly with foundational material.

This class is devoted to a progression of ballet fundamentals, moving beyond a basic level of instruction. Class includes traditional barre and center work with attention to technique and musicality.

Ballet, Tap, and Jazz!

This class is for students with little to no dance experience or those starting out at an age beyond the elementary school age. Focus is on development of fundamental ballet skills. Students will learn basic terminology and work to improve flexibility and strength in a supportive environment. The class will progress as appropriate for students, with individual challenges for those who demonstrate the ability.

Some experience in dance is helpful for students registering for this class, but students on the older end of the age range with no experience are welcome. Classwork will focus on learning and improving fundamental jazz skills. The level of difficulty will increase as students progress.

Ballet, Tap, and Jazz!

Participants must be registered for programs they are attending. No drop-ins allowed. To inquire about availability, email info@keenstlouis.org. At the KEEN Dance Program, athletes and volunteers will explore music and movement together. A session leader will facilitate dance options for youth with disabilities will guide our Athletes in a number of movement exercises. Athletes are invited to participate at their own pace.

Welcome to our cheer performance program! We are excited to have you learn and perform with us! Cheering builds confidence, teamwork, rhythm, and strength in a fun and positive environment! New cheers, stunts and materials each semester! Our Fall Season for Owlettes is a semester long, 14 week program, with 2 performances! Owlette cheer shirts can be ordered for performances after registration. (Same shirt for both Fall and Winter Semesters)

This class is for enthusiasts of musical theatre who want to learn basic and beyond dance skills that might be utilized in community theatre or school productions. Students will learn short combinations that will be incorporated into choreography to beloved musical theatre songs. Singing along is welcome and encouraged!

Move to the beat of upbeat, popular music and learn simple choreography in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. All you need is your smile and energy. Celebrate New Year's Eve with your entire family at The Lodge Indoor Pool! Guests will participate in traditional New Year's Eve festivities including a countdown to noon with a gigantic beach ball drop! Enjoy swimming in the wave pool, the indoor slide, music, dancing, and a NYE-themed backdrop to snap some fun photos. All youth guests will take home a beach ball!
