Stand up comedy is great for building presentation skills and confidence in front of a group. We start with very simple comedy such as knock knock jokes, limericks, why did the chicken cross the road, etc., so get the kids comfortable standing in front of a group. Then we progress to 2 person rapartes, story jokes, and one liners that we provide as well as that the kids invent themselves. The kids work on timing, on what make a joke funny, and on adding humor to their delivery and content.

Walk on stilts! Balance on a rolla bolla board! You’ll learn juggling, plate spinning, clown acts, animal balloons, and more! Camp culminates with students performing for their family! Instructor: Abra-Kid-Abra

Cause  dollar bill to instantly grow fivefold!  Vanish a coin with the mere tap of your wand! Make balls penetrate solid objects.  Sample different types of magic, impromptu magic you can perform anytime and be the life of the party. Story magic where you can use your creativity. Comedy magic, card magic, money magic, math magic. Amidst the fun of bringing home new tricks each class, students will develop their presentation skills and confidence.  Final show at end of camp.

These are just a few of the tricks they’ll learn in Magic Camp.  Our theme this summer is story magic.  The tricks are all new, quick to learn.  The magicians will learn to create their own presentations and stories to accompany their tricks, helping build presentation skills, confidence, & creativity.  The activities change every 30 minutes or so, as campers also learn to twist balloon animals, perform comedy magic skits, present magic puzzlers, and more!  They’ll be able to amaze their friends.  They might even become the life of the party!

Discover out-of-the-box thinking math that you can pull on your friends; math games; and math comedy as well! Get your own magic box and new tricks to put in it daily to amaze family and friends! Camp culminates with campers performing a mathemagic show for their families the last day. Goals are to develop presentation skills and confidence, build math skills, and to have fun!

Choose to be funny, silly, or dramatic, and show off your unique talents in this fun, upbeat, and supportive environment. Utilizing our theater and stage,  campers will have the opportunity to perform skits, engage in dramatic play, improvisation, dance, and comedy routines. Additionally, campers will record and edit their performances to share with family and friends. This is a challenge by choice activity and other opportunities will be available during stage time.
