Playing the Blues

This engaging week of instrumental music is open to any incoming 6th-9th grader who has an instrument and knows how to play it, even if it's only a LITTLE bit. We'll focus on The Blues as a style of music, and learn some tips for how to play The Blues together. While playing and learning some tunes, we'll also listen to some of the great Blues masters of the early 20th century. Finally, we will spend some time experimenting with Blues solos and improv!
