Blast Off to Space

Discover components of model rockets, what makes a rocket work, how to measure altitude, and safety considerations in this beginner rocketry class. Several different types of rockets will be constructed - straw rockets, rubber band rockets, paper rockets, and plastic bottle rockets. To conclude our study, each student will construct, launch, and take home an Estes rocket of their very own.
