Camp Pegasus - Tech Trek (Rising 7th-9th graders)- Session A

Each session offers four engaging classes that every Tech Trek camper attends. Age: Campers entering 7th-9th grade welcome! Session A: June 13-24 Tabletop Games and Worldbuilding Have you ever wanted to build the worlds that are in your imagination and take your friends on an epic tour? Do you wish that you and your friends could tell a story together that is written as you are telling it? Have you wondered how the creators of Dungeons and Dragons come up with their rules and adventures? If so, then Tabletop Games and Worldbuilding is the class for you! Stage Combat How do they make it look so real? Stage fighting is an art form that requires discipline and skill. Learn stage combat from a licensed fight choreographer. Engineering Challenge Learn and apply some of the key principles of engineering as you build your solutions to a variety of challenges. Put your creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to the test in this exciting new course! Coding The demand for women and men in the field of computer science is booming! Amazing possibilities await those who will be able to talk to computers and create programs in a language that our devices can understand. Campers will explore computer programming and be able to progress at their own comfort level.
