Little Veterinarian School (Ages 5-10)

Learn how to make important measurements, make assessments and perform an exam, understand the importance of proper nutrition and hydration, discuss what to do when a dog is injured, what are lacerations and proper care of stitches.  Discover how to inspect for and properly remove ticks, how to give medicine to a dog, and so much more!  Students go home with a disposable lab coat, plush dog, dog bandana, adoption certificate, dog bowl, dog bone cookie cutter and recipe card, gloves, mask, sutures, syringe, tape measure, vet office worksheet, ruler, dog anatomy worksheet, laminated x-ray and wax pencil, dog body language worksheet, eye worksheet and model, and a diploma.  Class held at the Center for Healthy Living in Dardenne Prairie.
