Summer Dance Intensive

Join CKDC for a week filled with intensive dance classes and professional development! Each day is made up of 3-4 unique classes focusing on a specific style of dance or aspect of professional development for creatives. Our adult company will lead students in a wide range of movement styles, including Graham and Horton Technique, Afro-Jazz/Modern, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and more! Stretching, partnering work, and improvisation will also be part of our program. In addition to dance, we will connect with dancers on a deeper level, figuring out what motivates us, how to keep our bodies and minds healthy, and how to strengthen our compositions and performances. We hope every day will be both challenging and gratifying for each individual participating. Please come prepared to work hard, have fun, and make new friends in St. Louis’s dance community!
