Join the safari as we journey through the jungles of planet Earth. We will explore wildlife and their habitats through art, folklore, science, plant and animal facts, pretend play and music. The activities in this class are more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Even the snacks we’ll make will have a wild flair – elephant ears, tiger tails, and zebra pudding – to name a few. So make tracks and join the hunt for an exciting adventure. This class is something to roar about!

College for Kids is an academic enrichment program for children of all ages - from pre-school through high school. Through College for Kids, students can discover new talents, expand their knowledge and enjoy hands-on learning under the guidance of experienced educators. Programs are offered year round at locations in Madison, Macoupin and Jersey counties, with a concentration of courses scheduled in the summer. More than 20,000 young people have participated in hands-on learning in math, science, creative arts, technology and languages since the program began in 1989. Other enrichment opportunities for students include classes in digital photography, horsemanship, musical theatre, golf, eco-science, robotics, cooking, local history, engineering, basketball and music. Classes are taught by highly qualified instructors, including L&C faculty and educators from local school districts.
